Aurora Paints pitcher Kieran Carlyle whisked his team past the Medford Desperados, 4-2. Francisco Quintero got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The last-place Paints hiked their record to 45-80.

In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, the Desperados allowed the Paints to take a 2-1 lead on a base hit and Medford error.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Carlyle told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
