Connelly, Alpines Too Much for Cyclones
The Savannah Alpines downed the Mt. Vernon Cyclones, 15-7, at Alpines Stadium. The Alpines were led by Keith Connelly. Connelly went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 5. Cedric McGuigan notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2.1 innings.
