Anaheim Sent Home with 3-2 Loss
|
Carson City Miners starter Jared Fryman hurled his team past the Anaheim Music, 3-2. The winning pitcher was Fryman, now 2-0. He tossed 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. The save went to Jeremy Killian, number 1 for him.
Jon Williams helped out the Carson City cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3.
"That's baseball," said Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
The win gives the Miners a record of 5-1.
