Providence pitcher Ricardo Sanchez did his part in helping his team defeat the Aurora Paints, 4-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Ben Foster earned the save, his 5th. The win puts the Hex at 63-55, while the Paints drop to 41-77.

The Hex liked what they saw from Sanchez. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Paints to no runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings, and striking out 7.

Sanchez attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
