The Anaheim Music put one in the win column with an opening day 5-1 triumph over the Sikeston Shamrocks. The crowd at Music Grove watched Chris Shamblen put on a fine performance. Miguel Martinez snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Aaron Kent collected his 1st save.

Anaheim took a 2-1 lead on Ryan Ramirez's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Ramirez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sikeston pitcher Mike Reich visibly frustrated.
