With 6-4 Win, Paints Improve to 72-68
David Short left his imprint on the 6-4 Aurora win against the Providence Hex. Short, who is tied for 8th in the SL1 in triples with 5, went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Tyler Reynolds earned his 10th save in 13 chances. The win for the Paints lifted their record to 72-68.

There was more than one reason the Paints beat the Hex, but Short's big at-bat in the top of the fourth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-1 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Short.
