Lynx Squelch Warlocks Offense in Shutout Win
Ottawa and Waco duked it out and the Lynx came out victorious.

In a tight tilt between the Ottawa Lynx and the Waco Warlocks, Dusty Walkey was the deciding factor. The Ottawa right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Jim Mies earned the save for Ottawa.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Lynx had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when second baseman Neil Goff hit a 2-run single. The single came off Pete Bowden and made the score 2-0, Lynx. Goff went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.

"Dusty is a gamer," said Ottawa manager Nick Boyd.

Ottawa has won 3 straight, while Waco has lost 3 in a row.
