The Little Rock Golden Gophers put together a convincing win at Santa Ana Stadium, defeating the Santa Ana Black Aces, 11-2. Mike Fogg was one of the hitting stars. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Little Rock. The winning pitcher was Andy Yule. His record now stands at 4-0. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits for the Golden Gophers. Little Rock, now 90-24, holds down first place in the Sub League 1 West Division.

Little Rock used a clutch at-bat from Jason Perrigin to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Golden Gophers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
