Ulery hits 2 home runs to Fuel Black Aces Offense
|
At Santa Ana Stadium, the Newport Unicorns and Santa Ana Black Aces were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Santa Ana left fielder Clark Ulery had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Newport Unicorns, 6-1. Santa Ana is now 94-44, Newport 63-75.
With Santa Ana leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Ulery hit a fastball from Matt Bowden for a 3-run home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Black Aces ahead, 5-0.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Ulery told the Santa Ana Daily.
