Walk-Off Win Makes Ottawa 79-58
Aurora got a terrific performance from pitcher Rick Gregg, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ottawa Lynx. Ottawa won the Rivermen Ballpark contest, 6-3. Gregg threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Ottawa reliever Chris Byrd picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Tyler Reynolds was saddled with the loss. Ottawa raised its record to 79-58 with the win.

Ottawa got a knockout punch from Jim Naig. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This joint was rocking," said Naig.
