Matthew Davi, who is tied for 3rd in the SL1 in quality starts with 13, was terrific for the Aurora Paints in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Ottawa Lynx. His performance earned Davi rave reviews. Tyler Reynolds earned save number 8 this season. The Lynx, now 78-57, have lost 4 in a row.

Aurora used the hitting of Freddy Chavez to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Paints on top, 3-1. For the game, Chavez had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Chavez said after the game.
