Unicorns Fall Short at Waco, 7-6
In a tight contest at Warlocks Grounds, the Waco Warlocks edged the Newport Unicorns by the score of 7-6. Waco right fielder Alex Morales, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Jorge Garcia snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Rogelio Camarillo suffered the loss. The third-place Warlocks improved to 61-75.

Randy Reneau was the walk-off hero for Waco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Warlocks center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"What a great game, great atmosphere," Reneau said.
