Medford Rallies to 4-1 Win
The Medford Desperados beat the Waco Warlocks, 4-1, at Ballpark of Medford. Starting pitcher Jose Diaz was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The first-place Desperados bumped their record to 87-43.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Matt Sikes came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Waco pitcher Quim Perestrelo, he hit a first pitch changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Medford on top, 2-1.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Diaz. "It sure beats the alternative."
