It was a parade of hits for Mike Mitchell of the Santa Ana Black Aces at Santa Ana Stadium.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Mitchell finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Black Aces to a win, 18-5.

"Mitchell was really good and we were really bad," groaned Desperados manager Noah Alexander. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Mike Mitchell doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Victor Martinez in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Victor Martinez in the 8th.
