Waugh Excels in 15-7 Ottawa Win
The Ottawa Lynx stormed past the Aurora Paints, 15-7, at Rivermen Ballpark. Ottawa right fielderRyan Waugh , who is tied for 3rd in the SL1 with a 1.180 OPS, led the hit parade. He went 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. With the victory, the Lynx record stands at 54-53.

The Lynx got an important contribution from catcher Mike Stemwedel, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a 2-1 fastball to right for a bases-clearing double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Lynx ahead, 9-5.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Waugh told the Ottawa Today.
