In a tight tilt between the Waco Warlocks and the Aurora Paints, Mark Galinski was the deciding factor. The Waco left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The win gives Waco a season record of 66-60.

The Paints had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Warlocks going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old right fielder Dylan Phillips came to the plate. Phillips hit a solo home run on a 0-2 fastball from Aurora hurler Kieran Carlyle. It was Phillips's 12th home run of the year.

In postgame remarks, Phillips applauded his team's "toughness."
