Starting pitcher Brian Davis pitched well enough to help the Tacoma Thunder Wolves beat the Waco Warlocks, 8-6. Steve Cleary locked down his 7th save. The Thunder Wolves now have a record of 53-75.

Tacoma used the timely hitting of Keith Harper to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Thunder Wolves on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Tacoma manager Alfonso Estrada.
