Wetmore Socks Hex in 4-3 Jammers Win
|
The Julian Jammers knocked off the Providence Hex by the score of 4-3. Tim Wetmore provided some pop, going 4-for-5 with 2 home runs. Julian reliever Mike Miller was the winner. His record is now 2-3. Angel Garabito took the loss. Julian, with the win, sits at 40-85.
Wetmore had a timely hit for Julian in the top of the seventh. With Julian trailing 3-1, he turned a first pitch slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 23rd home run of the season, making it 4-3, Julian.
