Partons Advance to World Series
The Dollywood Partons and White Deer Tropics held nothing back in an entertaining League Championship Series that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Dollywood advancing to the World Series, after a 7-6 triumph in the final game at Dolly Parton Ballpark, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Partons players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Tropics.

Jeremy Alfano was named series MVP for Dollywood. For the series, Alfano hit .407 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Dollywood Partons will play against the Deltaville Deltas in the next round. Deltaville won their series against the Newark Flyers 4 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
