Ota Excels in 11-5 Providence Win
The Providence Hex topped the Greensboro Naturals, 11-5, with youngster Shinichi Ota playing a key role. Ota hit 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Hex in the win. The 5th-place Naturals dropped to 43-70.

Pete DiBiaso, who is tied for 2nd in the SL1 in bases on balls with 73, helped out the Providence cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said DiBiaso.
