Marshalls Win Division Series
It's a sweet sweep for the Fremont Marshalls and they have won the Division Series. The Walnut Park Bobcats were not able to keep pace with the Marshalls and dropped the series in short order, losing 5-2 in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Walnut Park manager Hua Pian.

It's now on to the League Championship Series for Fremont after their 4-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was second baseman David Duthie, who was named MVP. For the series, Duthie hit .571 with a .647 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Fremont Marshalls don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Spokane Selects - Orono Oaks series. Spokane leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
