Selects Heading to League Championship Series
The Spokane Selects are one step closer to winning a World Series, and the season came to a close for the Orono Oaks.

Spokane won the Division Series 4-1, with a 6-1 victory in the deciding game at Selects Ballpark today.

Spokane catcher Sean Thomas was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .385 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.

"I just hope I can keep it up in the League Championship Series," he said.

The Spokane Selects will play against the Fremont Marshalls in the next round. Fremont won their series against the Walnut Park Bobcats 4 games to 0. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
