The Santa Ana Black Aces beat the Medford Desperados, 6-5, at Santa Ana Stadium. David Raney, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The winner was Ryan McEntyre in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Keith Price took the loss. The Sub League 1 Central Division-leading Black Aces have a record of 82-22.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Santa Ana trailing 5-4, Nate Berg hit a fastball from Keith Price to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Black Aces had a walk-off win.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Raney. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
