Earthquakes Advance to League Championship Series
The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes outclassed the Riverside Wolverines in all facets of the game throughout the SC Division Series.

The end result was a Ft. Wayne series sweep to advance to the League Championship Series, capped off by a 3-2 win in the final game.

"We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said third baseman Fred Hernandez, who hit .375 in the series.

Hernandez's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .375 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Jacksonville Nationals - Biloxi Jackpot series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
