Warlocks Win, 7-3, Versus Naturals

2025 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Greensboro Naturals.
Waco beat Greensboro on the strength of starting pitcher Carlos Zamora's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Picking up the save was Ben Whitman. He's now 3 for 4 in save chances.
Waco left fielder Shane Andes contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 57th hit of the season and put the Warlocks ahead, 2-0.
"Good, gritty kind of win," said Warlocks manager Mike Schwartz.
With the win, Waco upped its record to 51-49.
