Deltas Move on to League Championship Series
ABA Class-A League fans were certainly not disappointed with this Northern A Division Series.

The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Deltaville Deltas prevailing over the Santa Rosa Desperados to advance to the League Championship Series.

Deltaville won the final game by a score of 6-4 at Rogers Centre and that sealed the series 4-3.

"Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said left fielder Kyle Stansberry, who earned MVP honors.

For the series, Stansberry hit .333 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Deltaville Deltas will play against the Newark Flyers in the next round. Newark won their series against the San Antonio Stallions 4 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
