Almost There: Hartford On Cusp of World Series Triumph After 6-5 Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of shortstop Kevin Cremo, the Hartford Matadors got a road win against the Orono Oaks, 6-5, in Game 4 of the World Series. Cremo went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Matadors, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Jake Brosius broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the second with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Matadors in front, 2-1. For the game, Brosius drove in one run.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Brosius told the Hartford Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at University of Maine Stadium in Orono.
