The Little Rock Golden Gophers trumped the Medford Desperados, 10-8, at Little Rock Grounds. Little Rock pinch hitter Justin Dawson was terrific. He went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Little Rock reliever Marcos Patino was credited with the win. His record goes to 4-1. Ruben Espinoza took the loss for Medford. With the win, Little Rock pushed its record to 79-18.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Dawson hit a grand slam home run off Julian Cantu. It propelled the Golden Gophers into the lead, 10-6.

"Winning is contagious," said Dawson. "We're looking forward to the next game."
