Matt Sikes knocked in 5 runs to help Medford beat Providence, 12-9. The Brea, California native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Picking up the win was Darryl Snipes. The Desperados took the lead in the bottom of the first when Omar Castillo banged a two-out single. Medford had been trailing 1-0, but Castillo hit a full count fastball from Ed Gonell for a 2-run single.
