Cincinnati Wins at Home to Take 3-0 Lead in DS

The Cincinnati Royals are one game away from a sweep of the Divisional Series after stifling the Maine Pines by a score of 2-0 at The Castle. Royals left-hander Tom Kitko had a strong performance. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Cincinnati now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.
Cincinnati starter Tom Kitko pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-0 left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Kitko said.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Castle in Cincinnati.
