The Waco Warlocks picked up a win at Warlocks Grounds, downing the Aurora Paints, 7-4. On the mound for Waco was left-hander Mark Galinski, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Galinski. He threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Eric Tate. The win for the Warlocks raised their record to 48-45.

Jay Brown helped out the Waco cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks.

"Mark kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Warlocks manager Mike Schwartz.
