Whistlers Win Divisional Series
Boston Whistlers fans are rejoicing after a 5-4 win at Ballpark of Detroit has propelled the club to a 4-2 Divisional Series victory over the Detroit Giants.

With the win, the club advanced on to the Championship Series.

"Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said Boston reliever Sean Muzzy, who was named series MVP.

The Boston Whistlers will play against the Halifax Heathens in the next round. Halifax won their series against the Austin Desperados 4 games to 0. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
