Starting pitcher Dan Tettemer was a major factor in the 4-2 Waco Warlocks triumph over the Tacoma Thunder Wolves. Getting the save was Pete Bowden, his 4th. Waco, at 42-52, occupies third place in the Sub League 1 Central Division.

The Warlocks took advantage of an error in the top of the fifth inning. Waco was leading 3-2 when Justin Kocher hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Warlocks in front, 4-2.

Kocher told the Waco Observer: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
