Heathens Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
|
The Halifax Heathens are one game away from a sweep of the Divisional Series after stifling the Austin Desperados by a score of 4-0 at Dell Diamond. Heathens left-hander Adam D'Alberto had a strong performance. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. Halifax now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.
D'Alberto was dominant for Halifax. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit, while racking up 8 strikeouts. He threw 91 pitches over 6 innings in the contest.
"I thought we played a nice game," D'Alberto told the Halifax Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dell Diamond in Austin.
