McGee Excels in 8-2 Aurora Win
The Aurora Paints thumped the Newport Unicorns, 8-2, at Paints Park. Dave McGee was a big reason his team got the win. McGee went 4-4 with a home run, a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jim Unknown got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Unicorns to 2 runs on 6 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Aurora, at 35-55, holds down 4th place in the Sub League 1 Central Division.

With Aurora leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, McGee hit a fastball from Danny Fleitas for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Paints ahead, 3-0.
