With right fielder Arturo Tinoco leading the charge, the Medford Desperados defeated the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, 5-2, at Thunder Wolves Stadium. Tinoco was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Angel Alvarez nailed down his 7th save. The win elevated the Desperados to 61-30.

Medford used a well-timed hit by Mark Goetz to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Desperados ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Goetz called the win "a team effort."
