In the 6-4 Waco win over Little Rock, the impact of Randy Reneau was substantial. Reneau went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Pete Bowden recorded the save for Waco, his 2nd of the season. The defeat makes Little Rock 73-18.

Octavio Roman had a big 3-run home run for the Warlocks in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Waco leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Thompson and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Warlocks ahead, 6-0.
