Streaking Golden Gophers Win Another One, 7-6
In a tight contest at Warlocks Grounds, the Little Rock Golden Gophers edged the Waco Warlocks by the score of 7-6. Little Rock left fielder Eddie Monaghan, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Little Rock pitcher Alejandro Matute earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Christiano Gaona suffered the loss. Jeff Maxheimer nailed down the save.

Little Rock took the lead on Monaghan's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Christiano Gaona in the top of the seventh, made the score 5-4, Little Rock.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Little Rock manager Jose Moreno.

Their 73-17 record puts the Golden Gophers first in the Sub League 1 Central Division.
