In a pivotal Game 5, the Stockton Ragin Cajuns were hoping for a big game from starter Casey Levy. They got one.

The left-hander shut out the Winchester Mountaineers, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 4-0 victory. The Ragin Cajuns took the 4-0 win over the Winchester Mountaineers to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Levy, who leaned on his sinker, allowed no runs on just no hits over 9 innings for the Ragin Cajuns. For the most part, Winchester hitters were simply overmatched.

"We had trouble making good contact against Casey," said Winchester manager Mitchell Young.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 6th , 2022 at Mountaineers Park in Winchester.
