The Greensboro Naturals bested the Aurora Paints, 9-2, at Naturals Grounds. Adam Byrne was one of the standouts. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Jaden Cornelius collected save number 2. The Naturals, at 29-39, sit in last place in the Sub League 1 East Division.

The Naturals got an important contribution from catcher Victor Gelabert, who in the bottom of the sixth knocked a 1-1 fastball to left for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Naturals ahead, 9-1.

"I thought we played a nice game," Gelabert told the Greensboro Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
