Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Tropics, 6-5
|
Game 5 was big. So was Jake Fish.
In leading White Deer to a crucial 6-5 victory over the Dollywood Partons at Ballpark of White Deer, the White Deer starter rose to the occasion, tossing 6 good innings. Fish threw 6.0 innings of 1-hit ball as the Tropics defended their home field to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.
The Partons had trouble solving Fish, who surrendered 2 runs on 1 hit over 6 innings.
"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Fish.
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, September 27th , 2022 at Dolly Parton Ballpark in Pigeon Forge.
