Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old center fielder Travis Rosenberg, the Little Rock Golden Gophers defeated the Medford Desperados, 10-2. Little Rock reliever Bill Thompson picked up the win, while Jose Diaz took the loss for Medford. The win for the Golden Gophers raised their record to 68-17.

Early in the game, Rosenberg had a run-scoring triple for Little Rock. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Golden Gophers on top, 1-0.

Said losing manager Noah Alexander: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
