Little Rock Carves Out 7-4 Win
Little Rock Grounds was the site for Sub League 1 action featuring the Medford Desperados and Little Rock Golden Gophers.

Little Rock left fielder Eddie Monaghan played a vital role in his team's 7-4 conquest of Medford. He was 2-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Little Rock. The winner in relief was Ian McCullar. He is now 6-2. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings.

Little Rock took a 7-4 lead on Monaghan's 1st triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which he hit off Matt Howe in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Little Rock to the win.

"Enjoyed this one," Monaghan told the Little Rock Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The first-place Golden Gophers have a one-game lead in their division.
