Ragin Cajuns Hammered by Nunez, Drop Game 5 to Tigers

The London Tigers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Stockton Ragin Cajuns, winning, 9-4, at Ballpark of Stockton. Tigers second baseman Hector Nunez was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win cuts the deficit facing the Tigers to 3-2 in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.
A key moment came with two out in the top of the fifth. That's when Nunez hit a fastball from Bobby Bierman for a 2-run home run, putting London up, 7-4.
"We're happy," Nunez told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, September 27th , 2022 at Ballpark of Oklahoma City in London.
