Aurora Triumphs with Late Surge
Behind a fine performance from Darius Poole, the Aurora Paints knocked off the Waco Warlocks, 9-6. Poole went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Paints. The win was credited to 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Unknown in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Mark Galinski took the loss. Aurora sits in 4th place in the Sub League 1 Central Division at 32-52.

In the top of the eighth, the Paints grabbed the lead when Poole hit his 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Mark Galinski made it 9-6, Aurora.
