London Tigers manager Jose Torres took a gamble on 21-year-old starter Travis Anderson. It paid off, but, unfortunately for the Tigers, little else did.

Despite getting a poised performance from the young right-hander, the Tigers lost, 3-2, to the Stockton Ragin Cajuns at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. With the win, Stockton took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jaime Sherlock? The 23-year old second baseman Sherlock stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put Stockton up, 3-2. For the game, he was 3 for 6, including 2 doubles and 1 single.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Sherlock.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Oklahoma City in London.
