The Little Rock Golden Gophers and Aurora Paints completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Behind a fine performance from Matt Dean, the Little Rock Golden Gophers knocked off the Aurora Paints, 6-0. Dean went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Golden Gophers. Andy Yule got the win, improving to 8-1. He held the Paints to no runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 10 and walking 1.

With Little Rock leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Dean batted against Aurora pitcher Eric Tate. Dean hit a sinker to left for a 2-run double. His 28th double of the season put the Golden Gophers on top, 4-0.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Dean.

With the win, Little Rock pushed its record to 71-13.
