Ottawa took on Medford in front of a lively crowd.

Alex Guzman, who is tied for 4th in the SL1 in quality starts with 8, was terrific for the Ottawa Lynx in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Medford Desperados. His performance earned Guzman rave reviews. Ricardo Flores picked up the save for Ottawa, his 14th of the year.

Dave King contributed to the Ottawa win with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"It was a solid team effort," said King after the game.

The second-place Lynx have a record of 55-26.
