Thunder Wolves Capture Close Win
The Tacoma Thunder Wolves downed the Santa Ana Black Aces, 6-5, at Thunder Wolves Stadium. Jack Ficca led the way, going 2-for-4 for Tacoma. Jim Unknown, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 4.2 innings. Tacoma's record now stands at 27-33, placing them third in the Sub League 1 West Division.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Tacoma. That's when Mike Fath, who is tied for 8th in the SL1 in runs scored with 56, hit a solo home run off Chris Williams to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Tacoma manager Alfonso Estrada.
