Jammers Park was the site of a competitive game between the Newport Unicorns and Julian Jammers.

Julian second baseman Larry Jones was a significant contributor in his team's 5-3 triumph over the Newport Unicorns. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Jammers. Mike Miller picked up the save for Julian, his 1st of the year.

Jones had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a single. The Jammers went on to win.
