Santa Ana took on Providence in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Byron Bruce, in particular, was fantastic. The Santa Ana right-hander helped his team snag the win, 2-1. Santa Ana reliever Chris Williams picked up the win, raising his record to 6-0. Dan Maxwell was tagged with the loss. The Black Aces now own a record of 55-28.

Clark Ulery, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2025 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ulery contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Santa Ana up, 1-0.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Ulery.
